Abstract
Palembang City In December 2016 Inflation (0.67 percent)
Cumulative
inflation in 2016 and / or "year on year" inflation (December 2016 to
December 2015) of 3.68 percent. Palembang City in December 2016 based on
the expenditure group, showed that 5 (five) groups experienced an
increase in price index, namely transportation, communication &
financial services group (2.34 percent); Foodstuffs group (1.03
percent); Health group by 0.25 percent; Housing, water, electricity, gas
& fuel by0.04 percent; And the education, recreation and sports
group by 0.03 percent. While 2 (two) expenditure groups experienced a
decrease in the price index, namely clothing group of (-0.35 percent);
And the finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group by -0.01
percent.
Commodities that experienced price increases causing
inflation in Palembang City include: air transport, chicken eggs, mobile
phone pulse rate, mujair, chicken meat and white cabbage / cabbage.
While commodities that experienced price decline include: vegetable
tomatoes, gold jewelry, onion, dencis fish and fruit tomatoes.
Lubuk Linggau City In December 2016 Inflation (0.11 percent)
Cumulative
inflation in 2016 and / or "year on year" inflation (December 2016
against December 2015) is 2.74 percent. Commodities that experienced
price hikes that caused inflation in Lubuk Linggau City in December 2016
include tilapia, apple, white cabbage / cabbage, balokan timber, long
beans and mobile phone and cayenne pulse rates. While commodities that
experienced price decline include onion, red chili, sugar, vegetable
tomatoes, and cooking oil
South Sumatera Province In December 2016 Inflation (0.61 percent)
This
inflation rate is based on inflation calculation in Palembang City and
Lubuk Linggau City, December 2016. Cumulative Inflation in 2016 and
"Year on Year" Inflation (December 2016 to December 2015) is 3.58
percent.
Based on price monitoring during December 2016 in 82
cities of CPI in Indonesia, indicating that 78 CPI cities experienced
inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Lhokseumawe
(2.25 percent), the lowest in Padangsidimpuan and Tembilahan
respectively (0.02 percent). Meanwhile, four CPI cities experienced
deflation, the highest in Manado (-1.52 percent), the lowest in Tegal
(-0.09 percent)
