Abstract

In August 2023, the number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra through the entrance to Palembang's Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II was recorded at 4 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in August 2023 was 58.86 percent, an increase of 3.99 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 54.87 percent. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels for August 2023 was recorded at 21.52 percent.
The highest ROR for star hotels in August 2023 occurred at 5-star hotels, namely 69.56 percent and the lowest for 1-star hotels, namely 38.43 percent.
The average length of stay for guests at star hotels in August 2023 reached 1.42 days, an increase of 0.10 points compared to the previous month which was recorded at 1.32 days.
