Abstract

  • Sumatra Selatan Province in July 2022 experienced inflation of 0.76 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) until July 2022 was 5.15 percent. “Year on Year” (July 2022 to July 2021) annual inflation of 6.26 percent. The dominant commodities that caused inflation in July 2022 in Sumatra Selatan, namely: red chili, air transportation, shallots, broiler meat, and tomatoes experienced a significant price increase compared to the average price in June 2022.
  • Palembang City in July 2022 experienced inflation of 0.76 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) from January to July 2022 was 5.17 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (July 2022 to July 2021) of 6.29 percent.
  • Lubuk Linggau City in July 2022 experienced inflation of 0.68 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) from January to July 2022 was 4.93 percent. “Year on Year” (July 2022 to July 2021) annual inflation of 5.96 percent.
  • Indonesia in July 2022, based on price monitoring during July 2022 in 90 CPI cities throughout Indonesia, shows that all CPI cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Kendari City at 2.27 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Tanjung and Pematang Siantar at 0.04 percent.
