The Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in October 2020 was 98.40, an increase of 1.98 percent

• The increase in NTP in October 2020 was influenced by the increase in NTP in the Horticulture sub-sector by 0.16 percent and Animal Husbandry by 3.48 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sectors that experienced a decline were: Food Crops by 1.64 percent, Animal Husbandry 2.09 percent, General Fisheries 1.0 percent, Capture Fisheries 1.11 percent and Cultivated Fisheries 0.84 percent.

• In October 2020, in South Sumatra there was rural inflation of 0.49 percent due to the increase in the average index price in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco expenditure group which rose by 0.71 percent, Clothing and Footwear by 0.02 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuels 0.42 percent, Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance 0.27 percent, health 0.04 percent, Recreation, Sports and Culture 0.24 percent and and Personal Care and Other Services 0.47 percent. Meanwhile, the other groups did not change.

• The South Sumatra Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2020 was 98.52, an increase of 2.21 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
