Abstract

- The ITK value of South Sumatra Province in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 102.78, meaning that the economic condition of consumers improved from the previous quarter. This level of consumer optimism is lower than in the third quarter of 2014 (ITK value of 112.65)

- Improved economic conditions of consumers are driven by rising household incomes and high levels of consumption of food and non-food commodities, while high inflation is affected by household food consumption.
