Socialization of the Indonesian Village One Data System (SDDI)

Today (May 7th), BPS OKU Timur Regency attended the Socialization of the Indonesian Village One Data System (SDDI) held by the PMD Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency in Sukaraja Village, Buay Madang Subdistrict. This activity aimed to improve understanding and implementation of effective data management at the village level, which is a crucial foundation for regional development.


In this socialization, several important materials were presented to the participants, including an Explanation of the concept and objectives of SDDI as a platform that integrates data from various sources in the village, creating accurate, up-to-date, integrated, and accessible data for stakeholders. There was also material emphasizing how quality data serves as a strong basis for formulating targeted and effective government policies, especially in village development. This was followed by the Identification and explanation of relevant data types that can be collected at the village level, including demographic data, economic potential, infrastructure, and socio-cultural aspects. Additionally, there was a presentation on the Statistical Loving Village (Desa Cantik) program as an initiative to improve statistical literacy in rural communities, so they can utilize data in their daily lives and village development.


This activity is expected to encourage the realization of better data governance in villages, which will ultimately support sustainable development and improve community welfare. Thank you to all parties who participated in and supported the success of this event.
