Synergy between BPS and the OKU Timur One Data Forum

The OKU Timur District Central Statistics Agency (BPS) attended an invitation from the OKU Timur One Data Forum for a coordination meeting regarding the implementation of sectoral statistics. The coordination meeting was attended by the Regional Development Planning and Research Agency (Bappeda & Litbang) as the secretariat of the OKU Timur One Data Forum, the Communication and Informatics Agency as the data custodian, and the BPS as the data supervisor. The meeting was held in the Bappeda & Litbang OKU Timur District meeting room and chaired by the Head of the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Regional Development Division, Tantowi, S.Si.

The Communication and Informatics Agency, as the data custodian, through the Head of the Public Information Services Division, Sri Bainun, S.I.Kom, proposed sectoral statistics guidance and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on priority data as an initial step for the OKU Timur One Data Forum in 2025.

The OKU Timur District BPS, through the Head of the Sectoral Statistics Development Team, Rillando Maranansha Noor, SE, emphasized the role of the BPS as the data supervisor. The BPS also hopes that the OKU Timur One Data Forum can be more active in overseeing sectoral statistical activities in OKU Timur District.

The OKU Timur One Data Forum is committed to further improving the quality of sectoral statistics within the OKU Timur District government, given the increasingly significant role of data in regional development efforts.
