BAPPEDA BACK TO PRESENT BPS AS RESOURCE WORK RELATED TO FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION

#Sahabatdata, the role of BPS in providing quality data is increasingly evident. Today (7/3) the East OKU District Bappeda & Research and Development Agency again presented BPS as the resource person for the workshop.

Head of BPS for East OKU Regency, Ir. Budiriyanto, MAP acted as the guest speaker for the workshop with the theme "Fertilizer Distribution at the East OKU District Level: What are the Problems and How to Solve them".

The activity was opened by the Head of Bappeda and Research and Development of East OKU Regency Maryus Markus Firdaus, S.STP at the Bappeda and Litbangda meeting room of East OKU Regency and was attended by Assistants, Expert Staff, Special Staff, Head of related OPD, Representatives of PT. Pusri, Fertilizer Distributor Representatives, Retailer Representatives, Gapoktan Representatives and representatives of Universities in East OKU Regency.

The rice harvest area in East OKU Regency in 2022 is 108,075 Ha, an increase of 12,266 Ha compared to 2021 covering 95,809 Ha. This shows an increase of 12.80 percent. Rice harvest area in East OKU Regency ranks second in South Sumatra after Banyuasin with a harvest area of ​​177,999 Ha. Meanwhile, rice production in East OKU Regency in 2022 was 701,510 Tons-GKG, an increase of 126,543 Tons-GKG compared to 2021 of 574,966 Tons-GKG. This shows an increase of 22.01 Ton-MPD. Paddy production in East OKU Regency ranks second in South Sumatra after Banyuasin with a production of 897,428 Tons-GKG.
